• Is the MBA recognized in other countries?

Yes, the University of Wales MBA is very well recognized all over the world.

  • Can I complete one year & transfer my credits to University of Wales?

University of Wales has 9 campuses in UK. It is the prerogative of each campus to decide the acceptance or non acceptance of credits of another campus/university. Universities usually do their own evaluation of each student & hence the acceptance of students is in the hands of the respective university.

  • What is the shortest period in which the MBA can be completed?

Shortest period is by doing six subjects per semester and hence completing 12 modules in 12 months. Further 06 months for the dissertation, means that 18 months is the shortest.

However for working candidates IIHE does not recommend such an intensive schedule. We generally recommend that you do 4 subjects per semester. Then your period will be 2 years. The minimum number of modules is 2 and you can stretch the program for 3 years.

  • Is there a dissertation & is it compulsory?

Yes. In fact this is what makes the MBA from University Of Wales highly recognized and accepted internationally. Also the University Of Wales MBA is highly recognized in the corporate sector of Si Lanka due to the compulsory dissertation.

  • Are there different modes of payments?

Yes there are. There are three payment methods to be selected.

  • Will my tuition fee change, once I enroll on the program.

No. The local tuition fee will not change. However the rupee value of the Wales registration fee can change with the exchange rate.

  • Are the lectures during weekdays or weekends?

Lectures are scheduled during 4 weekdays in the evening & on Saturdays. However the number of days might differ with the number of modules you select.

  • How is assessment carried out?

Assessment is based on continuous and end of semester examinations. Generally continuous assessments contribute to 40% and end of semester exams to 60% of the final grade of each module. All assessments are reviewed & approved by Wales. Marking too is reviewed and approved by Wales.
